Mackie Lake House presents summer concerts on Kalamalka Lake

The Mackie Lake House Foundation is inviting audiences back to Kalamalka Lake for its annual summer concert series, Music at Mackie.

The concert series is designed to bring intimate performances by celebrated touring artists to the lake.

The 2026 lineup kicks off July 24 with Victoria-based indie-folk duo West My Friend. On July 31, Morien Jones and Trent Freeman, performing as Morien and Freeman, will bring their high-energy Canadian bluegrass music to the Mackie Lake House lawn with virtuosic picking and witty banter.

West Kelowna’s Jodie B takes the stage Aug. 20. Jodie B is a live-looping artist who blends indie folk and hip hop.

“Coming to Music at Mackie is like coming home,” Mackie Lake House manager Carla-Jean Stokes said. “Bring your lawn chair, grab an ice-cold drink, and settle in for the best house concert of the summer.”

The Mackie Lake House Foundation said Music at Mackie is more than a concert series. It is also a unique way to experience one of the Okanagan’s most treasured heritage sites.

All proceeds will be used to preserve and present Mackie Lake House and its collections for public education and enjoyment.
